Willie Nelson had to miss the opening weekend on the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour because of an undisclosed illness. The 91-year-old was supposed to kick off the tour June 21 alongside Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss and Celisse. However, he wasn't able to make the first weekend of shows on doctor's orders. The festival is scheduled to run through September 20. Willie released his most recent project, his 152nd album, on March 31.
