It looks like a Florida Georgia Line reunion is getting closer to becoming a reality.
After months of speculation and a pair of surprise performances together this year, Tyler Hubbard says he and Brian Kelley are now working on plans to return to the stage.
During a recent interview, Hubbard shared that the longtime duo has been spending more time together and is excited about what's ahead.
"We've got some things in the works for next year," Hubbard said. "Brian and I have been hanging out and having a good time. We're kind of itching to get back on stage."
He added that while nothing has been officially announced, the pair is already looking at putting together live shows in 2027.
"We'll probably put some shows together next year. That's about as much as we've planned at this point. We're both excited. It's gonna be a fun year next year."
The comments are the clearest indication yet that Florida Georgia Line is preparing for a return after announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2022.
Hubbard and Kelley first reunited onstage earlier this year during a record label event celebrating Jason Aldean at Country Radio Seminar. They performed together again in June when Kelley surprised fans by joining Hubbard during his CMA Fest set at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.
Looking back on that performance, Hubbard said the reunion was meaningful not only for fans, but for the two of them personally.
"It was cool. It was a great moment," he said. "Everyone around us and the fans got to experience the power and the healing that BK and I have been getting to experience for the last year or so."
Although the two are discussing live performances, Hubbard didn't mention any plans for new Florida Georgia Line music. For now, the focus appears to be getting back on stage together and giving fans the reunion they've been waiting for.
