Justin Moore is opening up about a personal milestone, revealing he's now sober after spending 30 days in rehab for alcohol addiction.
The country singer shared the news during a recent concert in Knoxville, Illinois—his first show after taking a month-long break from touring.
"I just got out of rehab for 30 days. This is my 31st day sober," Moore told the crowd.
He also spoke about his hopes for the future, saying he wants to use his experience to help others.
"I'm gonna try to help as many people as I can from this point forward until my last days on earth," he said. "And hopefully set a much better example for my kiddos."
Moore admitted his decision to step away from the road came after realizing his drinking had become a serious problem.
"My drinking got out of control," he told fans. "I let down my band and my crew, and most importantly, God and my family."
Despite the personal changes, Moore assured the audience that his concerts aren't changing.
"We're still gonna do drinking songs, don't get me wrong," he said, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Fans responded with loud applause as Moore shared his story, showing support for the singer as he begins this new chapter in his life.
