Zach John King is now touring with the same person who once told him that his time on American Idol was over... Luke Bryan.

Luke sent Zach home during Hollywood Week in 2020. Fans never even got to see his audition footage on television.

"I made it to Hollywood Week, and Luke Bryan sent me home, ironically, and told me to keep gigging... and I did!"

He took Luke's advice about playing more shows and continued working on his music. Now he is sharing the stage with him.

Luke also helped Zach reach another major milestone in his career. During the Word on the Street Tour, Luke invited him to make his Grand Ole Opry debut.
