Lainey Wilson recently shared a funny story where she had to show a bit of ego.

Early on in her career she was playing a festival in Elizabethtown, Colorado in front of a couple hundred people. As she was about to walk on stage with her guitar strapped on her, a festival staff member stopped her and asked for her backstage pass. Lainey's response to that was, "I am the pass!". She told him she could go and get it, but she really needed to get up on stage. He let her go.
