Five-year-old Sawyer has been through so much in his short life. He became a big fan of Hardy's music while battling pediatric cancer. Now his dream came true and he was able to meet his hero.

Sawyer was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, which is a form of cancer in the eyes. He went through rounds of chemo over the span of four years and ended up having both eyes removed and replaced with prosthetics. During his treatments, he discovered Hardy's music and it brought him a lot of joy while he was battling cancer. Through Make-A-Wish, they were able to arrange a once-in-a-lifetime meet and greet opportunity. Sawyer got to meet Hardy backstage, and then during the concert Hardy told the crowd about Sawyer. He called the young boy and his family out in the crowd and shared a few things they talked about. Hardy revealed that Sawyer's favourite song is "Rockstar." Although that track is no longer part of his live show, Hardy made an exception and performed it just for Sawyer. His mom, Jessica, put a video of the day together and shared it on TikTok, where she thanked Hardy, his team and Make-A-Wish for making this happen for her son.
