Alan Jackson played his final show Saturday night in Nashville with a four hour concert at Nissan Stadium.

The concert included tributes from Cody Johnson, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Eric Church, George Strait and many others.

Carrie Underwood Shares Alan Jackson Memory

Carrie Underwood told the crowd that her first concert was an Alan Jackson show in 1994. "I had the worst seats in the whole place, by the way," she said. "And it was still one of the greatest concert experiences that I have ever experienced." Carrie sang "Everything I Love," which was a hit single for Alan in 1997.

 

Eric Church Appears With Just His Guitar

Eric Church decided to strip his performance back and stepped on stage with just his guitar. "When I was given the opportunity to do this, I decided to bring it to just you and me, which is how Alan writes his songs. So it's just gonna be me and the guitar here," he explained to the crowd. Eric played "Someday," which Alan co-wrote with Jim McBride and released in the early 90's

 

Taylor Swift Appears By Video

Taylor Swift was one of many artists who appeared by video. She expressed her gratitude to Alan for "decades of unbelievable songwriting and performances." She went on to say that her favourite song of his is "Drive" because "in that song you really paint such a picture and you let us into the details of your life, and I know that was an example that was so good for me to see at a young age, an artist really just letting fans into the details of his life."

 

Alan Jackson Shares the Stage With George Strait One Last Time

George Strait joined Alan for performances of "Designated Drinker" and "Murder on Music Row." Both songs they've recorded together over the years.

 

Alan Jackson's Final Song

The final song that Alan performed was "Where I Come From." A fireworks display erupted from the stage behind him as he looked around and walked offstage for the final time.
