Alan Jackson had the chance to make a dream come true for his grand niece Carlisle Wright by inviting her to make her Grand Ole Opry debut.

In a video shared to social media, Carlisle is sitting in a chair with her dog when she's handed a phone and is told that it's her great uncle, "Uncle Hat," on the phone. Alan talks with her about this year being his 35th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry just before he delivers the big news.

"They asked me to call you today to extend to you an invitation to make your Opry debut on June 28th," he tells her as she immediately starts crying. "That will be a big event that you'll always remember. I remember the first time when I sang on there and Roy Acuff was standing - he's a lot shorter than me - but he was standing there staring up at me, about three feet from my face the whole time I sang," Alan recalls. "And I was scared to death." Carlisle's father is Big City Brian Wright, who is a musician and Alan's nephew. His mom is Alan's sister Cathy.
