  • TIFF Ajax Film Circuit presents "Drive Back Home"

Join us for the TIFF Ajax Film Circuit at the St. Francis Centre

Here’s your chance to watch films from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) without driving into the city, dealing with traffic jams and paying for parking - it’s all right here in Ajax! Film selections include Canadian and foreign made films, contemporary cinema and thought-provoking independent films.

    Drive Back Home
In 1970, a gruff New Brunswick plumber (Charlie Creed-Miles) travels to Toronto to bail out his estranged gay brother (Alan Cumming) jailed for public indecency. Reluctantly driving together per their mother's wish, their tense reunion tests their sibling bond. It’s a classic road movie that explores prejudice and relationships in rural '70s Canada.

    Concessions and cash bar available.

Tickets are only $12 and are available at the Ajax and McLean Community Centres, the Audley Recreation Centre, and online at www.ajax.ca/sfc. For more information, call 905-619-2529, ext. 2787 (ARTS), email us at stfranciscentre@ajax.ca, or visit us online at www.ajax.ca/sfc
