  • Ride Smart With Safety Village Whitby

    Is your child in grade 4-7 and would benefit from a 5-hour instructor-led ride smart bike safety course? On July 9th and August 20th this summer we have partnered with New Hope Community Bikes to offer this special program.

  • Orono Farmers Market

    The Orono Farmers Market is back!  Opening day is Friday June 14th from 2-6pm.  We are located at the north end of the Orono Fairgrounds at the end of Centreview Street.  Come visit our truly local farmers market for the best produce, baked goods, handmade items and much more.  We will also have special events including; food trucks, entertainment and kid approved fun.  See you then.

  • Many Voices Tell a Story! Pre Fiesta Week Storytelling and Music Concert

    In partnership with Storytelling Toronto International Storytelling Festival and Oshawa Club Carib Caribbean Culture Centre "Sassy Seniors" Pre-Fiesta Concert.

    Immerse yourself in captivating storytelling and live performances with international talents Jan Blake, and TuuP from the UK alongside local Dub poet, Judith Shaw, and drummer Negus Medhin. Hosted by Kesha Christie.  Artistic Director Heather Whaley.

    Reserve your spot now! The concert begins at 4 pm sharp. (Doors open at 2:30 for a light lunch and mingling.)

    A small-town comedy about finding a place to call home. 

    Brett and Drew want to move out of their tiny downtown condo and into a house, but they just lost their seventh bidding war in Toronto. When Brett’s beloved Aunt Maggie dies in a nearby small town, the couple decides to make the move and start up a B&B out of her historic home. But when they face friction in their new community, the two discover that the simple life is more complicated than they thought. 

    With dozens of characters all portrayed by two actors, Bed and Breakfast is a theatrical tour-de-force and a riotously funny comedy that will leave you laughing all the way home.
