    Whether your adoption parenting journey has just started or you’ve been on it for 20+ years, Pathways is the parenting training course for you. This FREE training provides practical parenting tools and techniques while connecting you with a community of other families on journeys similar to yours! 

    Our virtual sessions are a great chance to connect with other families! We are offering the following sessions:

    • Newly Placed Families (placed in the last 18 months) - January 25th
    • Single Parent - January 31st
    • Thursday Evenings - February 1st

  • Meet the Author: Celina Caesar-Chavannes

    An Evening with Celina Caesar-Chavannes

    In celebration of Black History Month, we are excited to host a dynamic talk with Whitby’s former MP (2015-2019), and the author of “Can You Hear Me Now?". Moderated by Eleanor McIntosh. 

    Independent Bookstore, Blue Heron Books will be in attendance with books available for purchase. 

    This program is offered at the Central Library of the Whitby Public Library.

    Registration is required.

  • AbZolutely Choir in Concert at St. Matthew's

    Come celebrate Valentine's Day with uplifting and energizing music from the Abzolutely Choir joined by the Local Honey Band under the direction of Abby Zotz.   

    Tickets are $20 each and available at office@stmatthewsoshawa.ca

    Refreshments and door prizes!

    Established in 1874, Trafalgar Castle School is a school for girls in Grades 4-12. We are differentiated by our size, location, and the strength of our community and are known, in particular, for nurturing and growing the abilities of students who may become lost in a larger setting. We pride ourselves on challenging each student’s mind, strengthening their voice and nurturing their heart.
