With over 50 youth members, there are Wildcats everywhere! This up-beat throwback to the ins and outs of high school drama is a nostalgic romp for young and old alike!  In this play, an audition notice is posted for East High’s spring musical and superstar athlete Troy and science whiz Gabriella secretly want to try out. Will their dreams be thwarted as they navigate the cliques of East High? Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favourite High School Musical songs such as “Get’cha Head in the Game,” “Stick to the Status Quo,” and “We’re All in This Together.” With its inspiring message of friendship, self-discovery, and teamwork, you’ll be singing and cheering along with the talented High School Musical JR. Cast!  You won’t want to miss out on this entertaining SLCT musical!

Children of all ages are invited to bring a stuffed animal to this special storytime at the Central Library of the Whitby Public Library—then they can leave their fluffy friend behind for a stuffie-only sleepover! Photos of their hijinks will be available when they pick up their animal friend.

Teddy Bear drop-off is available until 6:00 p.m. 

This drop-in, P.A. Day program at the Brooklin Branch of the Whitby Public Library will keep kids' brains busy and engaged with fun activities!

Here’s the low down: join us for ‘A Night at Studio 54,’ where you can boogie down to the greatest hits of the '70s. Gather up all your cool cats and kittens and groove to the sounds from the decade that was all about disco, new wave, pop, soul, funk and more. Costumes are encouraged, so dig out your retro threads and get ready for a night that’ll be off the hook! Ready to get down? Concessions and cash bar available.
