  • ‘Wild in Pieces: Collage Creatures of Land, Sea and Sky’ by Kate Greenway

    Artist Reception: April 11th, 1pm-3pm

Scugog Arts presents: ‘Wild in Pieces: Collage Creatures of Land, Sea and Sky’ by Kate Greenway

     April 4th  - April 26th, 2026

268 Queen St, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B8

Wild in Pieces: Collage Creatures of Land, Sea and Sky invites viewers into a vibrant world where animals and birds emerge from layers of texture, colour, and imagination. This mixed-media exhibition brings together creatures collaged from recycled magazine paper, birds formed with the fluidity of watercolour and the spontaneity of monoprint, and animals built from hand-painted and collaged tissue paper. Each piece celebrates the beauty and diversity of the natural world while showcasing the possibilities of reimagined materials. Through fragments and layers, Wild in Pieces transforms everyday papers into extraordinary portraits of life on land, sea, and in the sky.

    All are welcome!

  • Outrun CF Durham 5K walk/Run

Funds raised through community events like Outrun CF go to support CF Canada's specialist government relations team and CF Canada advocates who are fighting for access to critical medicine, fuel innovative research programs, and ensure the care and support that the entire CF community needs is available and accessible.

  • Craft Circle at the Oshawa Museum

    Calling All Crafters!

The Oshawa Museum is hosting a craft circle for all ages on the last Sunday of each month. Bring your latest work in progress and hang out with museum volunteers and other like-minded crafters. This is the perfect chance to try something if you’re new to handicrafts or solve a mystery, like how to actually fix slipped stitches and how the heck to hold a crochet hook properly.

This is a free experience, but the Oshawa Museum always welcomes donations. Come to Guy House, the yellow museum building in Lakeview Park, between 12:30 and 3:30 pm.

Dates are subject to change due to holidays or museum events.

    12:30pm - 03:30pm
