    March break programs at the Whitby Public Library will keep kids entertained, engaged and learning!

  • March Break at the Oshawa Museum

    Celebrate March Break with us at the Oshawa Museum! Explore the new travelling exhibit Indigenous Languages in Canada, on loan from the Canadian Languages Museum, and discover the Untold Oshawa exhibit in Robinson House. Both exhibits highlight the rich history of the land and the people who have lived here over the last 10,000 years.

    During your visit, you’ll have the chance to learn Wendat words as you tour Henry and Robinson House. At Guy House, uncover the story of the Three Sisters crops. You can even plant them and take them home! (While supplies last)

    Admission is by donation.

    Schedule:

    • Museum Tour Only: Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 PM
    • Tours + Activities: Monday, March 10 – Friday, March 14, from 9 AM to 3 PM

    Looking for something more than just a typical movie night? Celebrate the significant anniversaries of our selected classic movies with fun trivia, prizes/giveaways, and signature cocktails/treats! Costumes or PJs are encouraged, as are blankets and/or pillows.

    The Goonies 40th Anniversary Screening - End your March Break with an adventure and join Mikey, Chunk, Mouth, and the gang as they embark on a hunt for pirate treasure to save their homes. Rocky Road anyone? (PG – language)
