The City of Pickering is thrilled to announce that Petapolooza with our presenting partner, Pet Valu, is back on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at Esplanade Park. Petapolooza has become one of Pickering's largest outdoor events, offering attendees the chance to connect with fellow pet owners and enthusiasts, industry professionals, and rescue groups.
This year, the event will feature over 75 exhibitors, live performances by the SuperDogs, an amateur Pet Talent Show, and a special appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog. Enjoy all-day activities such as a lure course, pet coloring and tattoos, caricature artist, pawprint art, food trucks, and much more. Arrive early to receive your complimentary swag bag! Lindsey Narraway, Supervisor of Animal Services, says, “We are thrilled to introduce a new addition to Petapolooza: the Stuffy Pet Hospital!
Bring your favorite stuffed toy for a thorough health exam and learn how to properly care for your pet”. Petapolooza is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Last year, we raised just over $40,000, and this year we hope to raise even more. With interactive games and activities for the whole family, we can't wait to see you and your furry friends there! Animal Services will be accepting voluntary $5.00 donations, with free admission for seniors 55+, children under 12, and pets. All donations will support the development of a new Animal Shelter in Pickering.
Petapolooza wouldn't be possible without the support of our sponsors: Pet Valu, Mr. Lube, Michelle Fraser Team, Renewal by Anderson, Who’s Walking Who Dog Training Centres, HiFive Kids Dental, TACC Developments, Opawz, KX96 and Consider it Dunne. Visit pickering.ca/Petapolooza to learn mor
