Scugog Arts welcomes you to enter a world of wonderful talent and inspiration at our 2025 Annual Juried Show. Juried by Toronto curator Charlotte Hale, Ontario artists from all over the province will bring together their works to celebrate this year’s theme of unity and diversity.
While you’re exploring the show, cast your vote for the Viewer’s Choice Award for your favourite artwork and be entered into a draw to win a beautiful mini painting by Celeste Kim.
Join us for the opening reception on August 2nd from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. If you can’t make it, the show will be running until September 1st.

Kars on King, hosted by the City of Oshawa (the largest municipality within Durham Region) is an outdoor festival celebrating all things classic vehicles, bringing together generations of vehicle enthusiasts, vintage car clubs, and car lovers from young to young at heart into the heart of downtown Oshawa.

This event offers the community and tourists alike a free, safe, accessible, family-friendly community event pairing vintage vehicles with live entertainment and community activations.

After moving away from his home reservation to pursue a music career, Destin stumbles back into town with unexpected car trouble and lands at the Wide Wigwam, the diner at the centre of the community. There he finds many of those who he left behind and who want to remind him of his history and his place in the community. Described as Corner Gas meets Come From Away, Rez Gas is a beautiful expression of Indigenous joy with a hip-hop-infused, unforgettable score.
