08:00am - 08:00pmThe theme for this year's TD Summer Reading Club (TDSRC) has been announced. Prepare to go on an adventure! The theme for 2025 is Around the World. TDSRC is Canada’s largest bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities. It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators, and stories that inspire kids to explore the fun of reading.
Beginning in July, kids can track their reading on Beanstack to earn badges and the chance to win cool prizes. We're encouraging children to visit our locations once a week to share what they've been reading and collect beads for a reading necklace!
TDSRC registration begins June 17. Reporting begins July 2 and runs until August 20.

01:00pm - 03:00pmA hilarious night of songs, satire, and personal stories.
Izad Etemadi has spent most of his life explaining himself to others: his ethnicity, his sexuality, the pronunciation of his name. But as an elder-millennial dealing with back pain and digestive issues, he doesn’t have the time or energy to keep explaining things. This queer Iranian-Canadian immigrant born in Germany is going to attempt to explain his entire existence in 60-ish minutes, so he never has to do it again.
