Seeds For Communities have partnered with RainBarrel.ca for a fourth season as they hold their rain barrel and composter fundraiser sale for residents of Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa and Prince Edward County.
Each rain barrel includes a leaf and mosquito filter basket, an overflow adaptor, a spigot/tap and an overflow hose. Also included in our fundraising campaign are home composters for purchase.
With Spring in full swing, there are many great reasons to use a rain barrel. Not only does harvesting rainwater help with your gardens, it can even help cut down on water bills!
Barrels must be pre-ordered in advance online and will be scheduled for home delivery in early June. For more information on rain barrels and our fundraiser, please visit our fundraiser website here.
