It’s the beginning of Santa Claus Parades in KX Country!
I’m back in the Events Cruiser this weekend! Starting the day off you can find me in the Uxbridge Santa Claus Parade! It begins at 11:00am at the corner of Brock Street and Centre Road heading east down Brock so if you’re coming out make sure you give me a wave in the Events Cruiser! Kids! Don’t forget your letters for Santa as Canada Post will be collecting them along the parade route.
I'll be at Oshawa's Bright & Merry Market in downtown Oshawa on Saturday afternoon and you can check it out from noon-9pm! Enjoy a special visit with Santa, buskers, vendors, food, indoor activities, carnival rides and so much more! with free hot chocolate from Tim Hortons!
Saturday evening I’ll be in Santa’s Parade of Lights, the Oshawa Santa Claus Parade! The exciting nighttime parade makes its way down King Street from Stevenson Road, to Simcoe and back up Bond. Bundle up, grab your hot chocolate and come see Santa at the parade beginning at 6:00pm.
On Sunday morning you can find me at the Oshawa and District Shrine Club for the Lakeridge Holiday Marketplace! It’s on from 10:00am-3:00pmfor you to come and celebrate the holiday season! You can get your picture taken with Santa Claus himself, do some shopping and support local entrepreneurs as well as people in our community on the Autism Spectrum or with Intellectual Disabilities.
I’ll be making my way over to COBS Bread Folkstore on Sunday afternoon for their community day; they’ve got lots of fun to get in on including bun decorating, delicious samples and more! 100% of proceeds from the store on Sunday support the Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre as well!
I’ll be in the Newcastle Santa Claus Parade on Sunday evening! The holiday celebrations kick off at 5:30 with a fireworks display followed by the parade and of course Santa Claus at the end!
