Looking forward to a busy weekend in KX Country!

I’ll be starting my weekend off at the York-Durham Heritage Railway for Winnie’s Train Festival! You can check out the festival from 10:00am-4:00pm and even board the train for more fun at 11:00am or 1:00pm! Lots of all day entertainment from one of the most beloved bears and all his friends!

You can find me at the Orono Fairgrounds afterwards for the WADDED-UP Monster Truck Show! It’s a massive all day monster truck show with some of the top ranked trucks, massive demolition derby’s and more!

Grab lunch at the Bayridge Plaza in Pickering to support all the businesses hurt by the fires at the end of June. I’ll be there from 1:00pm-2:00pm, you can bring the whole family by to grab a hot dog or hamburger, hangout with the local fire services and more!

I’ll be ending the day on Saturday at the 1^st Annual Downtown Oshawa Summerfest! All the fun is going on all day long in Memorial Park with food trucks, craft beer, live entertainment and more, all the way into the night!

I’ll be starting Sunday off at the Oshawa Museum for their Sunday Funday Green Thumbs Gardening! From 12:00pm-4:00pm you can visit the Henry House Heritage Gardens for free and enjoy an afternoon of gardening tours!

Afterwards I’ll be heading to Esplanade Park in Pickering where you can enjoy free concerts in the gazeebo every Sunday all summer long! Just bring a chair or blanket to relax in the grass.

Next it’s off to the free Community Health & Fun Fair in Whitby! Check it out at 300 Kendalwood Road for a full day of family fun activities including balloon art, live music, a petting zoo and more!
