It’s Canada Day long weekend in KX Country!

I’ll be starting my weekend off at the Oshawa Blood Donor Clinic! Blood Donors are needed in Oshawa! Give the gift of life this holiday long weekend. They will be open from 8:00am-2:00pm on Saturday.

I’ll be heading to the Delpark Homes Centre afterwards to check out Oshawa Comicon! A whole bunch of awesome geek stuff you can check out! Bring a food item for donation to the local food bank and you could score a prize!

Find me in Stouffville on Saturday afternoon for the 35^th annual Strawberry Festival! From pies to cookies, cakes and more! You can check it out all weekend long or even join in on the Canada Day picnic! Visit strawberryfestival.ca to see everything you can get involved in over the weekend!

I will be ending the day on Saturday with a KX96 Winsticker Drive Thru in Pickering! Find me at the Events Cruiser and get registered for your very own KX96 Winsticker!

It’s looking like it’s going to be some beautiful weather on Sunday! That makes for a perfect day for a guided trail hike through the Rouge Valley. You can find me hanging out at Glen Rouge Campground. Most hikes start here. Check for a hike you can join in on at pc.gc.ca

Find me in Brooklin on Sunday afternoon at the Brooklin Summer Craft Show! Check it out just behind Grass Park at the Old Brooklin Community Centre featuring all local and unique vendors as well as live entertainment!

I will be ending Sunday with a KX Winsticker Drive Thru in Oshawa! I can get you registered for your very own KX96 Winsticker just be listening for where to find me at the KX96 Events Cruiser!

I will also be out in the Events Cruiser on Monday to check out all the fun happening for Canada’s 152^nd birthday in KX Country!

Find me in Ajax’s Rotary Park for celebrations! It begins at 11:00am and wraps up at 3:00pm before the party moves over to Casino Ajax for fireworks and more entertainment at night!

Next up, the celebrations continue at Esplanade Park in Pickering! Games, activities, food trucks, live entertainment and so much more! You can also check out their fireworks display at dusk in Kinsmen Park.

I’ll be heading to Port Perry afterwards to check out the fun at Palmer Park, right on the water! They’ve got all day entertainment for all ages!

I will be finishing the weekend in Oshawa’s Lakeview Park where the city of Oshawa has set up endless amounts of fun activities you can get involved in all afternoon before the massive fireworks display to close out the celebrations!
