Hoping we don’t get too much rain for a busy weekend in KX Country!

I’ll be starting my weekend off in Port Perry for the Walk For ALS at the fairgrounds! The walk officially kicks off at 10:00am and will wrap up with a BBQ lunch as well as local entertainment! You can grab all the details you need at walkforals.ca.

I’ll be heading to Blackstock afterwards to The Animal Guardian Society! Fun for car lovers and dog lovers, it’s Kars & K9’s! On top of all the classic cars and doggy games, there will also be a BBQ, lots of giveaways, and more!

On Saturday afternoon you can find me in Brooklin for the 9^th Annual Nova’s Ark Friendship Walk, as always the walk will be led by Bing the Camel followed by an afternoon of fun in Grass Park! All money raised will be used to help maintain the unique program facility.

I’ll be ending the day with a KX Winsticker Drive Thru in Oshawa! Find me at the Events Cruiser to get registered for your very own KX96 Winsticker!

On Sunday, it’s Father’s Day! I’ll be starting the day off at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens as the city of Oshawa is celebrating their 15^th annual Peony Festival! New this year, they have included a wine garden for you to enjoy all weekend long as well as live music and a children’s area!

It’s Recreation and Parks month in Whitby and I’ll be spending Sunday afternoon at the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex where there’s lots of free activities you can get involved in all month long! Visit whitby.ca to see everything you can do!

I’ll be ending the weekend with a KX Winsticker Drive Thru in Whitby, every Wednesday is a KX96 Winsticker Wednesday and coming up next Wednesday you could pick up passes to Tank Saturday at the Ontario Regiment Museum!
