It’s Family Day Weekend in KX Country!

Kyle will be out in the KX96 Events Cruiser for me on Saturday and Sunday! Find him Saturday morning at the Oshawa Blood Donor Clinic. They are always in need of donations and what better time to help out than Family Day Weekend! They are open from 8:00am-2:00pm every Saturday!

Afterwards he will be at the Oshawa Public Library McLaughlin Branch for the Sonic Celebration! From 10:30am-11:30am you can drop in to celebrate all things Sonic The Hedgehog! They’ve got games, activities and crafts the whole family can get in on!

Come out to the Ajax Community Centre on Saturday afternoon for a Family Free Skate! Hosted by Ajax Member of Provincial Parliament, Rod Phillips! Just bring your skates! It’s happening from 12:30pm-2:30pm on Pad 1!

Saturday will wrap up with a KX Winsticker Drive Thru in Whitby! Keep it locked on KX to find out where you can find Kyle and get registered for your very own KX96 Winsticker!

On Sunday, it’s off to Vandermeer Nursery in Ajax! The Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting their annual afternoon Victorian tea! Check it out between 11:00am-3:00pm. All proceeds go to support the cats at the sanctuary!

With it being Family Day Weekend, it’s the perfect time to check out a guided trail hike at Glen Rouge Campground in Scarborough! You can find Kyle there on Sunday afternoon! Get the family together, pick out and RSVP to a guided trail hike on pc.gc.ca!

Kyle will be finishing off the day with a KX Winsticker Drive Thru in Pickering, if you can catch up with him you can get registered for a KX Winsticker and start scoring on Winsticker Wednesdays!

I’ll be back in the Events Cruiser on Monday for Family Day!

You can first off find me at the Clarington Public Library – Courtice Branch for their Winter WonderLearn program! You can come out beginning at 10:00am to discover the wild fun that Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue has to share while they are on site until 2:00pm!

I’ll be heading to the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex afterwards to check out their Family Day fun! It includes swimming, fitness classes, activities, crafts and more from 10:00am-4:00pm!

I’ll be wrapping up Family Day and the long weekend at the McLean Community Centre in Ajax! They’ve got a huge list of Family Day fun happening from 11:00am-4:00pm including Lumberjack Shows, swimming, horse and carriage rides and more!
