Blake Shelton is co-producing a new documentary about the life and music of the late Keith Whitley. He died in 1989 when he was just 34 years old. Blake was shocked that Keith's life has never been the subject of a documentary. "Gwen and I love watching documentaries, and I looked for his doc one night and couldn't believe there wasn't one," he explains in a press release. Blake's Lucky Horseshoe Productions is partnering with Anomaly Content & Entertainment to create the movie, which will start filming in January. The film will cover Keith's short life and the music that he created during that time. It will also feature his relationship with fellow singer Lorrie Morgan, who is contributing personal footage to the documentary.
