Joe Bonsall, a longtime member of the Oak Ridge Boys, died July 9 of complications from ALS. He was 76 years old. He had retired from touring in January because of the progression of the disease. Joe spent five decades as a member of the Oak Ridge Boys. He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry, the Philadelphia Music Hall of Fame, the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. In 2015, he and his bandmates were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Joe is survived by his wife Mary Ann, daughters Jennifer and Sabrina and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
